Hello, my name is Bret Nellor. I am the owner and operator of BN Guitar Lessons. I have been playing guitar for 30 years. I've been performing publicly for about 27 years around the region with various groups. Guitar has brought me much enjoyment through the years.

Like many, I started out trying to learn to play guitar on my own with little success. It wasn't until I finally began lessons that things started to click.

Of course, things were a little different when I started. There was no internet. Guitar chord charts and tablature to my favorite songs weren't just a Google search away. Videos on YouTube showing you how to play riffs and solos hadn't been dreamed of.

With all the information at our disposal now, it should be easy to learn to play guitar right? Unfortunately, no. There's a key element missing that still can leave a beginning guitar player frustrated. That missing piece is a dedicated teacher.

A teacher is able to guide you step by step through the learning process. Correcting poor technique before it becomes a larger problem and motivating you to reach your goals. This is true now, same as it was when I was beginning.

It is my mission to help you learn the guitar in a fun and supportive environment. Learning an instrument is a journey that requires your effort but I am committed to helping you on the way.
